Raised in a small town in Southern Indiana, Matt started his musical studies at age 13 learning on guitar. He cultivated his passion at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where he earned a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Writing & Production. Matt has arranged and composed for a wide variety of ensembles including jazz big band, full size orchestra, string orchestra, a capella voices, pop/rock and country.

​Living in Nashville, TN, Matt is a full time member of the professional touring group, Sail On: The Beach Boys Tribute.
